On 01/13/2016 in Skopje was signed an agreement for cooperation between the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Macedonia, represented by the Director Ass. Dr. Shaban Memeti and Teaching Institute for Public Health “Dr. Andrija Štampar “, located in Zagreb, represented by the General Director Dr. Zvonimir Shostar. With this agreement the parties establish partnership and cooperation in the field of public health medicine, environmental health, epidemiology, microbiology, scientific research and development, teaching and educational activities and medical practice.
This agreement is the basis for the creation of the Regional Network for safety and quality of food of Southeast Europe that will include other countries in the region that are members of the EU or candidates for EU membership.
