Each application reduces unnecessary performance
Today in Veles, 12 to 14 hours will hold an expert meeting that start campaign to increase awareness of the rational use of antibiotics.
The expert meeting will be opened by Dr. Joan Kostovska the Ministry of Health. Dr. Golubinka Boshevska, national coordinator for antimicrobial resistance and Representative of the Institute of Public Health of the Republic of Macedonia Prof. Dr. Nikola Panovski Faculty of Medicine, MA Christina Christ the Fund will have their speeches during the campaign that will include more cities in Macedonia.
In Ohrid, Prilep, Bitola, Tetovo, Stip, Kumanovo, Skopje, Kocani and Strumica, in the period from 26 September to 27 November will be held nine two-hour educational seminars once a week. The goal is to educate the citizens and health workers at the local level to prevent the wasteful use of antimicrobial means and reduce the risk of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
The campaign is carried out in cooperation of multi-sectoral committee to monitor antimicrobial resistance in the Ministry of Health, Institute of Public Health, Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Medicine, Health Insurance Fund of Macedonia (HIF), Centre for Regional Policy Research and Cooperation “Studiorum “with financial support from the World health Organization and the Government of Belgium.

Veles (26.09.), Ohrid (09:10.), Prilep (16:10.), Bitola (17:10). Tetovo (23:10)., Stip (30.10.), Kumanovo (06:11.), Skopje (14:11.), Kocani (20:11.) and Strumica (27.11.).
