The Department carries out the following activities:
- Continuous collection and performing mathematical, logical control and coverage and correction of data from aggregated and individual health records statistics of healthcare facilities through CPH;
- Continuous collection, logical control, coverage and correction of data from individual records;
- input data into the appropriate application software programs;
- Processing and analysis of imported health statistics;
- perform logical and mathematical control of processed data;
- Preparation of annual and semi-annual health statistical reports on national level;
- keeping records on non-communicable diseases;
- Preparation of information, publications, programs and other materials through the statistical analysis of the data;
- Monitoring statistical analysis of reports of the health facilities established morbidity and healthcare staff;
- conducting education in health statistics of medical professionals of different profiles and field inspections with methodological assistance and instruction in health facilities and CPH;
- coordinating professional work in the field of health statistics in public health centers in the country and regional offices of the CPH;
- conducting analyzes of project solutions and proposing measures to improve design and programming;
- participation in preparation of statistical research programs specializing in health care;
- participation in preparation of expert and methodological guidelines for conducting statistical surveys in health;
- monitoring implementation of the Programme for statistics research health;
