Activity for health care of school children and youth are realized in 34 stations, which are all in the city.
In this area work 62 doctors and 85 health workers with higher and secondary education. It is not yet reach a satisfactory level of assistance to doctors of this group of the population and on average, there is 1 doctor of 4892 children aged 7-19 years for the Republic.
Unsatisfactory is the ratio of physicians and health care workers with higher and secondary education, which is 1: 1.4
The total volume of preventive health services and activities performed in 2018 recorded an increase of 2.2 index points compared to 2017

Total volume of curated health services and activities performed in 2018 are increased by 6.2 index points compared to 2017. The number of visits to the doctor’s office has increased by 6.9 index points in 2018 compared to 2017. The number of visits to health professionals decreased by 8.4 index points in 2018 compared to 2017. And the number of visits to the psychologist and speech therapist decreased by 10.9 index points in 2018 compared to 2017.

In activity for health care of school children and youth in 2018 are registered a total of 686631 diseases, which is 3.4% more than in the previous year. (664294-in 2017.)

The structure of individual groups of diseases, the respiratory are again ranking on the first place with a share of 42.4% in total and morbidity rate of 9516.2% oo.
On the second place are diseases of the skin with 6.1% share and the rate of 1378.4% oo; on the third place are diseases of the digestive system with 4.6% and a rate of 1037.9% oo; on the fourth- certain infectious and parasitic diseases with the participation of 4% and a rate of 891.9% and OO. t. n. on the fifth diseases of the eye and adnexa with a share of 3.4% and a rate of 766.9% oo;

Compared to the last year, there was a decreasing trend of neoplasms by 5.9%; blood and blood diseases by 7.2%; 12.2% in eye diseases and addictions; 5.5% in ear diseases; in diseases of the circulatory system by 12.4%; in diseases of the digestive system by 7.5%; in genitourinary diseases by 9.1% and in injuries and poisonings by 6.9%. The rest of the disease groups showed an increasing trend in the number of registered patients in 2018 compared to 2017.
Mortality in the health care for school children and youth
In 2014, are registered a total of 128 deaths, on the age of 5-24 years and a rate of 24.6% oo.
The distribution by age shows that young people from 15-24 years are most common in the mortality of the population, with participation of 75%, and rate of 33.2% oo.
The distribution by sex shows that males are over-represented compared to women.

Recommendations:
- raising the awareness of young people through programs for health education at all levels in order to indicate of the importance of their own health and well-being;
– Active participation in the implementation of health programs in order to apply the knowledge acquired to health education about healthy lifestyles;
- raising the awareness of young people about the risks that exist in their health in order to reduce risky behavior.
