Following a request from the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Institute of Public Health immediately deployed field teams to the designated locations to collect samples for microbiological and physicochemical analyses.

Upon the team's return from the field in the early hours of Friday morning, the sample analysis process began without delay.

In accordance with the notification received from the General Hospital "Dr. Ferid Murad" in Gostivar regarding a sudden increase in the number of patients presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms, and in order to ensure that the analyses are carried out professionally and in a timely manner, experts from the Institute have continued working throughout the weekend to analyse the collected samples.

The results of the analyses will be submitted to the requesting authority, the Public Prosecutor's Office, for further action.

The Institute of Public Health remains in continuous communication and coordination with the competent state authorities.
